Audiology Systems, in partnership with Otometrics and Intelligent Hearing Systems (IHS), invites you to a 7-hour EP course. This one-day course is designed to assist new users of the ICS Chartr EP 200 and/or IHS SmartEP, system in becoming more familiar with the system’s operation. For current users, this course will allow you to stay up-to-date with the advances in EP testing.  Key training areas include frequency specific threshold assessment techniques troubleshooting practicum, and using EP to assess the dizzy patient.

A discussion and demonstration will be provided on how the ICS Chartr EP 200 and/or IHS SmartEP, system is utilized for evoked potentials.  The basics of evoked potentials will be reviewed along with a discussion of threshold assessment in both ABR and ASSR. An overview and exploration of the use of evoked potentials with the dizzy patient will be presented including ECochG, and VEMP.  A hands-on practicum regarding the dizzy patient will follow.  The day will end with a review of frequently asked questions regarding all aspects of evoked potentials.  The benefits of the use of evoked potentials to both the clinician and patient will be presented.
